FOR THE PARENTS
The majority of TIA staff carry a Bachelor’s degree or higher and receive ongoing training in the subject area for which they are assigned. Nearly 30% of TIA’s staff have dedicated 6 or more years of service, with some reaching up to 17 years.
What a commitment!
Building Righteous Leaders
The 8th-grade graduation ceremony is a very special time for the school community. Many graduates have attended the Academy since pre-school. This important celebration marks a significant milestone for all the accomplishments achieved over the years.

With selfless efforts from the School Board & Committee, administrators, teachers and parents working together, students are armored with essential skills to take on the world by storm. TIA graduates have been accepted in top high schools and colleges such as Phillips Academy (Andover & Exeter), Pingree, Boston University, Cambridge, and Harvard.

The greatest gift is to watch graduates advance to higher levels of learning, but at the same time, not forgetting who they are and where they came from. There are many examples of student alumni giving back to their community by way of establishing an Islamic organization or union in their public or private high schools and colleges. Other examples include volunteering at TIA events or other Islamic community functions. We salute all of our graduates over the years and wish them long-term success in this life and the next.
Team Spirit & Pride
During the annual sports & field day event, staff and students compete along with their team representing a color such as red, yellow or blue for team spirit. After a number of challenging obstacle courses and competitions, the points are tallied, the winning team is announced and receives the team trophy.
